Trading time zones

The different periods during which global financial markets are open and active around the world.

Trailing Stop Loss

A dynamic stop-loss order that moves in favor of price advances while remaining fixed during pullbacks. If price reverses beyond the stop level, the position is automatically closed to limit losses.

Trend

The overall direction in which the price of a financial instrument moves over a period of time.

Trend line

A line drawn on a chart by connecting successive higher lows or lower highs to highlight the direction of a trend.

Two-way quote

A price quotation that shows both the bid price and the ask price for a financial instrument.
