    Algorithmic Trading

Algorithmic trading uses computer programs to execute trades based on predefined rules related to price, timing, volume, or mathematical models. By automating decisions, it reduces emotional involvement and can execute trades faster and more frequently than manual trading.

    All Or None

An All Or None order instructs the broker to execute the entire order at once or not at all, allowing no partial fills. For example, a trader wanting to buy 300 shares at a specific price will only proceed if all shares can be purchased at that price. AON orders are often used in low-liquidity markets.

    Alpha

Alpha measures the performance of an investment strategy relative to the overall market. A positive alpha indicates returns above the market benchmark, while a negative alpha suggests underperformance and the need for strategy improvement.

    Altcoin

Altcoins are cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin. The term comes from “alternative coin” and generally refers to smaller or lower-market-cap digital currencies that emerged after Bitcoin, often claiming improved features.

    Alternative Investments

Alternative investments include assets outside traditional categories such as stocks, bonds, and cash. Examples include private equity, hedge funds, real estate, commodities, and tangible assets. These investments are usually less regulated and less liquid than conventional ones.

    American option

An American option is a type of option contract that can be exercised at any time before its expiration date.
